Ravindra Kadam, is currently working as an Advisor-Renewable Energy with Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC), New Delhi. He as an advisor looks at the Regulatory and Policy issues around Renewable Energy and other innovative technologies like Hybrid, Storage etc. As an Advisor, he also deals with the issues of market development for RE and conventional sources. He has experience of more than 15 years in the power sector covering range of key issues such as Renewable Energy, Regulatory development, Renewable Energy Certificate Mechanism, Tariff setting and financial and economic analysis of power projects, etc. His experience includes analysing key Regulatory, Policy, Financial aspects for renewable energy technologies and other conventional technologies. He has also worked on the issues in setting Tariff and preparing Regulations, leading project team for assessment of Renewable energy Potentials and issues in rural energy access, working on energy model for renewable sources, working on energy planning under climate change constraints etc.
