Vishal Vij is Highly experienced professional with a strong background in the energy industry, specifically in power trading, procurement, regulatory compliance, and business development. Proven track record in leading teams, managing client relationships, and driving growth in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as the Head of Open Access, Renewable Marketing & Regulatory at TATA Power Trading Company Limited, responsible for managing prospects, developing strategies for value-added services, and overseeing power purchase and sale agreements. Keeping up-to-date with the latest regulations and policies impacting the renewable market. Provide support to the business development team for converting leads into solar, wind, BESS, and hybrid projects. Previously held the position of Assistant General Manager (Power Procurement) at TATA Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL), where I ensured reliable power supply and optimized power purchase costs. Managed long-term power purchase agreements, conducted statutory audits. Led digitization projects such as Power Portfolio Management Automation and Robotic Process Automation. As a Manager of Business Development in TPDDL, conducted feasibility analyses for bidding on national and international projects, and acted as a project manager for project management consultancy works in distribution utilities across multiple states. As an Assistant Manager (Regulatory) in TPDDL, ensured compliance with applicable regulations, engaged in policy advocacy, and tracked regulatory developments for commercial and regulatory matters.
