Mr. Singh is the first ever chairman of the newly established Electricity Regulatory Commission of Nepal since 2019. He worked with the government of Nepal in various capacities and retired from the position of the Director General at the Department of Electricity Development in 2014. Then he worked with an international consulting firm for 3 years. All together he has accrued work experience of 40+ years. He completed Bachelors of Civil Engineering from India in 1981 and pursued Masters of Engineering and Technology Management degree in 1994 from the University of Queensland, Australia.
