Anant Venkateswaran is an industry professional with more than 20 years of experience in the energy and utility sector. He has extensive expertise in business, financial, regulatory/policy, operations, and technology aspects of the industry. Anant serves on various technical, standards, advisory, and tutorial committees and is a teacher, presenter, panelist, moderator, and speaker at international venues such as Distributech, isuw, IEEE, and CIGRE.Anant has advised utilities and energy companies globally through visioning, strategy, business cases, architectures, and deployment. He has managed significant technology investments and provided consultation from visioning to validation. Anant is a senior member of the team accountable for strategy, trusted advisory/consultative, thought leadership, and partnerships. He has worked in traditional aspects of the grid and new and emerging areas such as AMI, Grid-Edge, Protection and Control, Enterprise Solutions, Big Data, IoT, Cloud Computing, and Smart Energy. Anant is based in Denver, Colorado, and is currently with Hitachi Energy. He has worked with several industrial, utility, and government customers globally. Anant has successfully conducted the ISGF Master class Series since 2017 as part of India Smart Utility Week.
