Leslie Mulder is the President and Founder of Exegin Technologies Limited, a global leader in embedded software protocol stacks for networking technologies such as ZigBee, JupiterMesh, Wi-SUN, 802.15.4, and TCP/IP. Mulder has over 19 years of experience leading Exegin Technologies and has recently achieved PHY certification for the Wi-SUN FAN 1.0 implementation. This development has implications for the Smart Meter and Smart City market segments, allowing silicon vendors and device manufacturers to consider deploying the Wi-SUN RF Mesh on a wide variety of transceivers, System-on-Chips (SoCs), and host processors. Prior to founding Exegin Technologies, Mulder also founded Velocity Software Systems Ltd., which provides full-service hardware and firmware design and prototyping for microcontroller and embedded systems. Mulder has a Master of Science in Physics and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics/Physics (Honours) from Simon Fraser University.
