Arindam Maitra
AVP of Grid Modernization, L&T Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D)

Arindam Maitra is an energy industry executive with extensive experience in integrated grid T&D planning, community microgrids, advanced energy communities, distributed energy resources (DER), electric vehicle integration, and power electronics applications. He is currently the Associate Vice President of Grid Modernization at L&T Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) in Santa Clara, California. Before joining L&T, Maitra worked for the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) for over 12 years in various roles, including Senior Technical Executive, Technical Executive, Senior Project Manager, and Project Manager. Prior to that, he worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer at EPRI. Maitra holds a PhD and a master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Mississippi State University. He is a recognized subject matter expert and industry leader in energy storage and microgrids, and has authored white papers, spoken at industry conferences, and holds U.S. patents. He is passionate about mitigating climate change and driving social equity.
