Vikram Murthy is a highly experienced professional in the HVAC industry with 47 years of experience. He earned his Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur, India. Currently, he serves as the Director of Univac Environment Systems Private Limited, where he specializes in Unitary and Applied HVAC Systems. Additionally, he is a partner at Tropical Air conditioning & Refrigeration, where he trains HVAC & R professionals and represents AHRI (Air conditioning Heating & Refrigeration Institute) for the certification of HVAC equipment.Mr. Murthy has also held various leadership positions in professional organizations, including serving as a Presidential Member of ISHRAE (Indian Society of Heating Refrigerating & Air conditioning Institute), a Past President of ASHRAE Mumbai Chapter, and a member of the Rotary Club of Bombay Film City. He is also a Regional Lecturer for ASHRAE and a member of the Technology Task Force for the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs of the Government of India. Before his current roles, Mr. Murthy has also held prominent positions in several other organizations, including working as a Project Manager at Voltas Ltd for Central Air conditioning Projects, as a Director at Genpower Electric Pvt Ltd for the manufacturing of Air Handling Units & Electrical Control Panels, and as an Executive Vice President at Utility Engineers India Ltd for Central Air conditioning Projects.
