Aseem heads the Business Development for Tabreed India. Tabreed is headquartered in UAE and is one of the world’s largest cooling utility companies. It provides energy-efficient, cost-effective and environmentally friendly cooling as a service through its 86 district cooling plants, delivering 1.24 million tonnes of cooling across 400 million square feet of real estate developments through long term concessions. With over 10 years of experience across different parts of the value chain in clean energy, utilities and infrastructure with world’s leading organizations, Aseem has a rich expertise in evaluating businesses, winning tenders, project financing and equity partnerships. Prior to joining Tabreed, he worked with Enel (Italy) where he, as Valuation Responsible for India, evaluated and won renewable energy projects close to 1 GW. He also played a key role in setting up a BD unit for India and Asia-Oceania region for Enel Grids – the power distribution and smart metering business line. His earlier experiences include strategy consulting and research assignments while working with EY (Ernst and Young) and PKC Advisory. Aseem holds a bachelor degree in commerce from Hans Raj College, University of Delhi, and an MBA from FORE, Delhi. As a Chartered Financial Analyst, he is also an active member of CFA Institute (US) and CFA Society India.
