Sourajit Ghosh is a seasoned power sector professional with extensive experience in information technology and utility operations. He began his career with ORG Systems, where he worked on the manufacturing of mini-computers in the mid-1980s. During this period, ORG Systems was the sole service partner in India for Sperry UNIVAC, and he served as a maintenance engineer supporting Sperry UNIVAC mainframes deployed at Air India. He later joined NTPC Limited as an Executive Trainee and built a long and distinguished career, rising through the ranks from Engineer to General Manager at the Corporate Office in Noida. Over the years, he has gained deep expertise in power sector IT systems, digital transformation, and enterprise infrastructure, and currently serves as Director – IT at Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited, where he leads the utility’s technology strategy and digital initiatives.
