Saurav Shah

Executive Director, PFC Limited

Saurav Kumar Shah is the Executive Director of RDSS at PFC Limited. A 2009 batch IPS officer from Bihar cadre, he leads the Government of India's Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme with a budget of Rs. 3000 Billion for transforming the power distribution sector. He played a key role in previous schemes like IPDS and R-APDRP. He has also served in various capacities including Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare during COVID-19, and Ministry of Railways and Coal. With a background in district policing, he brings insights into the rural power sector and development. He holds an Economics degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce and is interested in renewable energy and development studies.
