Sector Head - Domestic Nuclear Business,Tata Consulting Engineers Limited

Shibashish Pal is a senior professional in power sector, with over 20 years of experience in engineering design and project management of various projects at TATA Consulting Engineers (TCE) related to nuclear power plants, thermal power plants, Solar PV, Solar thermal power plants, HVDC Substations and transmission lines. TCE has been a trusted partner in India’s nuclear power programme, supporting the nation’s journey from its first reactors to the emerging trends of private participation in nuclear sector. The company’s role spans the entire nuclear value chain from feasibility and conceptualisation to detailed engineering and commissioning. Shibashish in his current role serves as Sector Head – Nuclear at TCE, where he oversees delivery for domestic nuclear power projects, quality assurance and competency development for new areas. Shibashish holds an Executive MBA form SP Jain Institute of Management & Research and a master’s degree in Structural Engineering from Sardar Patel College of Engineering Mumbai. Shibashish has been involved in many first of its kind projects, which include cyclone resilient power distribution network, ISRO’s Cryogenic engine test facility, India’s largest HVDC substations and he is also the inventor of patent (433695) on floating solar PV plants.
