Vasu Khurana is a power sector professional with over 11 years of experience across the energy and water sectors, working with both government and private utilities in generation, transmission, and distribution. He currently leads Transmission & Distribution projects across India at Phoenix Contact, with expertise spanning pre-sales, business development, technical specification development, utility approvals, and end-to-end project execution.His technical strengths include project design, industrial networking, and advanced communication protocols such as IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104/101, IEC 62443, IEC 62351, ICCP, OPC-UA/DA, and MODBUS. Vasu has extensive hands-on experience with SCADA systems and multi-vendor RTU/FRTU platforms, with a strong focus on cybersecurity and standards compliance. He is passionate about enabling secure, efficient, and future-ready digital infrastructure for modern power systems.
