Mr. Ashish Tandon holds an honors degree in Engineering and has completed Leadership Management Courses at General Electric Crotonville (USA). With over three decades of leadership experience in the global energy metering sector, he has played a transformative role in business expansion, strategic mergers & acquisitions, and market penetration. Having worked with industry giants such as General Electric, Schlumberger, and Itron, Mr. Tandon brings a wealth of expertise in steering organizations toward technological excellence and profitability. Currently, Mr. Tandon is Executive Vice President at Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd., he leads the Marketing & Business Development for Energy, Water, and Gas Meters SBUs and plays a pivotal role in AMI deployment projects under RDSS, driving large-scale smart metering transformations. A prominent contributor to industry think tanks, Mr. Tandon has been actively engaged with IEEMA, CII, and ISGF. As a former Chairman of IEEMA’s Meter Division and the current Vice Chairman of the Smart Metering Working Group in ISGF, he has been at the forefront of policy advocacy and regulatory discussions. His engagements with MoP, CEA, REC, PFC and EGSM have contributed significantly towards finalisation of Standard Bidding Document under RDSS for nationwide Smart Meter rollouts
