Munish is a seasoned power sector professional with over two decades of diverse experience spanning Multinational Corporations and Indian Conglomerates. At BSES, one of India’s leading power distribution utilities, he spearheads ESG strategy, digital transformation, and group ISO processes, driving innovation and sustainability in urban power distribution landscape. Holding a Honours degree from Delhi University with an MBA from Birla Institute of Management Technology, Munish also holds formal qualifications in Business & Cyber Law and ESG & Sustainability. He is a DALE CARNEGIE Certified Trainer, an Executive Program alumnus of MDI Gurugram, and an Honorary Faculty at the National Power Training Institute (under the Union Ministry of Power). A thought leader and policy advocate, Munish has actively contributed to national-level forums such as CII’s National Committee on Power, Association of Power Producers (APP), and ASSOCHAM. Also, he has been commended by the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) for his contributions to India’s Power Distribution Perspective Plan (2020–21). His global outlook is reflected in his research on “Future Bio Fuels” presented at the World Energy Council Summit in Istanbul during 2016.
