Dimas Bangun Fiddiansyah currently serves as the Manager of the Electric Power Digitalization in the Digital Management Division at the PLN Head office. He holds an MSEE (Master of Science in Electrical Engineering) from the University of Arkansas, USA and a bachelor's in electrical engineering from the University of Brawijaya, Indonesia. Dimas has extensive orchestrator roles as a task force team in managing and preparing the grand design smart grid roadmap, supporting AI initiatives in the electric power value chain for PMO AI SOE (State owned enterprises) centre of excellence, and has been working on preparing the digital use cases in Renewable energy generation for the site visit assessment of World Economic Forum (WEF) Digital Lighthouse 2024. His current research interest is in smart grid, VRE grid-connected, virtual power plant, asset management, IT/OT Cybersecurity, Digitalization in Transition energy, AI/ML use cases in electric power digitalization, digital twin, and data analytics. Yet, he earned an Asset Management certificate from the Institute of Asset Management (IAM), UK in 2023 and data analytics certifications from ACCA in 2024. Dimas is actively involved as the Head of the Department of Flexible Energy Generation, VRE, and energy storage system in the Indonesian Initiative Smart Grid Association
