Suresh Babu Muttana is a Scientist E at the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, with a focus on electric mobility and related infrastructure. He leads research and development efforts in key areas such as Lithium-Ion batteries, traction motors, power electronics, and critical materials, with an emphasis on their circularity. His expertise also extends to the development of standards for electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure and the formulation of standards, policies related to electric mobility in India. With extensive experience in the fields of electric mobility and sustainable energy technologies, Suresh Babu Muttana plays a crucial role in advancing India’s transition to clean and efficient transportation systems. He holds an M. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Sri Venkateswara University
