Tania, Associate Director with BCG is a climate change and sustainability professional carrying more than a decade of experience across areas of mitigation, adaptation and resilience. She has catered to governments, private sector organisations as well as donors and philanthropies on a diverse range of climate and sustainability topics such as sustainable energy transition, carbon and climate finance, and resilience in India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, South Korea and Turkey. Her experience spans across Clean Development Mechanism and Emission Trading Schemes, wherein she has worked in South Korea closely with the private sector and government on these areas. She has played a key role in the G20 Environment and Climate Sustainability Working Group, supporting as strategic partner for the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, India on topics of climate action, integrity in carbon and climate finance, blue and circular economy. She is presently contributing to the shaping of the Indian Carbon Market, zooming into the interlinkages with Article 6 of the Paris Agreement and implications for participation in Carbon Markets under this regime
