Dr. Subhra Das brings over 20 years of expertise in Renewable Energy to her role as Professor and Founding Head of the Solar & Alternate Energy Department and Head of the Amity Skills Institute at Amity University, Haryana. Her academic credentials include a PhD from Jadavpur University and had worked at Solar Energy Centre, an autonomous institution of Ministry of New & Renewable Energy. She earned a gold-medal for M. Tech in Energy Science and Technology, and a gold-medal for M. Sc in Applied Mathematics from the University of Calcutta. Her research focuses on agrivoltaics, energy transition, developing prediction and forecasting models and solar system analysis. She has successfully led numerous research and consultancy projects, published extensively, and serves on editorial boards and as a journal reviewer
