Sandip Pal is a power distribution professional with over 21 years of experience in utility operations, maintenance, and power system diagnostics. He currently serves as Head – Distribution Services at TP Northern Odisha Distribution Limited, where he oversees Corporate Operation Services, Quality Assurance, Maintenance Planning Group, Plant Engineering, and Transformer Repair Workshops. Sandip has played a key role in strengthening operational efficiency and reliability across the distribution network and was an important member of the core team during the transition of the Odisha distribution utility from a government-owned utility to a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model in 2021. Previously, he spent over 16 years with Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited, leading teams in fault location, underground cable diagnostics, and switchgear maintenance. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from NIT Durgapur.
