CEO, Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited
Dwijadas Basak is a seasoned leader in the power distribution sector with over three decades of experience, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL). An electrical engineering graduate from B.E. College, Calcutta University, he has held diverse leadership roles across the Tata Power Group. His extensive career includes serving as the CEO of TP Northern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPNODL), Chief of the Odisha Distribution Business, and Chief Operating Officer at TP Central Odisha Distribution Ltd (TPCODL). Furthermore, he brings international exposure to his role, having contributed to power distribution operations in both India and Brazil, alongside significant prior experience at Tata Power-DDL in areas such as customer experience, commercial strategy, and government affairs. In his current capacity as CEO of TPDDL, Mr. Basak is dedicated to driving operational excellence and customer-centric digital transformation for a utility serving approximately 9 million consumers in North and North-West Delhi.
