Dr. J.B.V. Reddy is an Electronics & Communication Engineering graduate from Delhi College of Engineering, with MS (Research) in Power Systems Engineering from IIT Delhi. His doctoral thesis focused on "Advanced Signal Processing and Machine Intelligence Techniques for Power Quality Assessment." With a career spanning over three decades, Dr. Reddy has played a pivotal role in promoting science and technology through policy frameworks and direct interventions in national and international R&D programs. Dr. Reddy's contributions extend to national initiatives like the National Quantum Mission (NQM). He is currently the Head Quantum Technology Cell. These cutting-edge technologies aim to seamlessly integrate quantum advancements across multiple domains, driving progress in science and technology while delivering significant socio-economic benefits.
