Deputy Director, Central Electricity Authority (CEA)
Kotthapally Satishkumar is a power sector professional currently serving as Deputy Director at the Central Electricity Authority (CEA), Ministry of Power, Government of India. He is part of the technical and regulatory framework that supports India's electricity sector planning, grid operations, and policy implementation. Over the course of his career with CEA, he has been involved in power system planning, grid operation coordination, and development of technical standards and regulatory guidelines for the Indian power sector. He contributes to technical studies, policy formulation, and inter-agency coordination related to transmission planning, system reliability, and power sector modernization. Kotthapally Satishkumar is also an alumnus of the Union Public Service Commission Engineering Services Examination, through which he entered the Government of India's engineering services cadre, reflecting his technical background in electrical engineering and power systems.
