Chirag oversees Climate Change and Sustainable Cooling at PwC India. In this capacity, he engages with Businesses, Industry Associations, Governments and Think tanks to help clients deliver sustained outcomes as they seek to build trust with their stakeholders. He is a well-known expert in GHG accounting and brings in more than 12 years of experience working on the issues of global climate change. He has worked on various projects such as climate & sustainability strategy, carbon markets projects, trading of emission reductions, development and assurance of GHG inventories, corporate sustainability reports. His other areas of works included development of audit protocols for GHG emission reductions projects under various market mechanisms. He holds a keen interest in developing tools to inventory GHG emissions from various sectors. He has developed excel based tool to help Indian corporate’s estimate Internal carbon price. Chirag holds Master’ Degree in Chemical Engineering from Gujarat University, India. He is also, a certified management systems auditor for ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and Responsible recycling (R2).
