Planning Director, Brazilian Energy Planning Enterprise (EPE)
Thiago Ivanoski Teixeira has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Bahia -- UFBA, a postgraduate degree in Engineering. He holds a degree in Economics from UERJ and a degree in Public Administration from ENAP, and an MBA in Finance from IBMEC. He has been Director of Economic, Energy, and Environmental Studies since December 2023. He joined EPE in 2008, where he served as Advisor to the President, Superintendent, Deputy Superintendent, Technical Consultant, and Energy Research Analyst in the Generation Projects Superintendence. Among other activities, he has worked on the technical evaluation of generation projects, developing feasibility studies, inventorying and optimizing hydroelectric plants, developing the Ten-Year Energy Expansion Plan (PDE) and the National Energy Plan (PNE), as well as preparing several technical studies aimed at supporting the planning of Brazil's energy sector.
