Yosi Shneck is the founder of YSICONS, an advisory company focusing on cyber and computer strategies for critical infrastructures and vendors. He also functions as a senior consultant, leading the Cyber entrepreneurship and business development unit, IECyber at the Israel Electric Corp (IEC). More than 46 years of experience in computer systems & technologies in utilities, including information systems, scientific applications, supper computing & communication, control systems, infrastructures & architectures, and cyber. As SVP and VP of Information and communication, in addition to his duties as ITC leader, he was responsible for readying the company against cyber-attack threats, including IT/OT environments, being accountable for the cyber activity of supercritical infrastructure. In all his duties from 1994, security, data protection, and later on, cyber were some of the main issues that he led. During those years, he has founded the structure and methodologies of cyber activities and deployed them. It included the change of awareness and professionality, decision making, and dealing with cyber crises of the board of directors and the c-level management of IEC. Mr. Shneck was and still is, involved in many nationwide and international initiatives in this field, as the IEC representative and as of his professional reputation. He is involved in different activities, from the Israeli cyber authority's foundation under the Israeli secret service and, later on, with INCD, Israel's national cyber directorate. Today, in charge of Cyber entrepreneurship and business development, including R&D, cyber products and services development, support of the IEC's cyber unit, marketing, and deployment worldwide. Leading the R&D projects and activities in the European research programs for more than ten years, including the FP7 and Horizon 2020 programs. As part of his current activities, he provides unique boards and c-level management cyber workshops to leverage their organizational cyber sturdiness, compliance, and preparedness. Recently those workshops were delivered to several critical infrastructure companies in the far east, Europe, and the US. Mr. Shneck serves as the head of the steering committee of Cybergym, a member of the Cyber Management Forum of the Manufacturers' association of Israel, where he leads the cyber education activity for boards and management. Mr. Shneck has an M.A. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Computer Sciences.
