Professionally a Mechanical Engineer and Certified Energy Auditor ➢ Working in the field of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency since 1988. ➢ Worked in Chhattisgarh State Renewable Energy Development Agency (CREDA) as Project in-charge of all the projects related to Renewable Energy & Energy Conservation at District Level, Regional Level & State Level. ➢ Major projects executed includes: • Solar Electrification of +1000 remote villages/hamlets (with mini grids) • Solarization of: o + 800 Tribal Hostels o +200 Primary/Community Health Centres. o +15MW off grid installation in urban areas • First Net Plus Building of Chhattisgarh State Electricity Regulatory Commission • Secretariat of Chhattisgarh State ➢ Solar Rooftop Grid Connected Power Plants of +8MW ➢ Implementation of first ever Demand Side Management (DSM) of LED Street Lighting System Project of India supported by Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Govt. of India for Municipal Corporation Durg in Chhattisgarh State ➢ Establishment of Operation & Maintenance Cell for SPV Projects ➢ In-charge of Energy Conservation Cell ➢ Coordination of 500MW capacity Solar Park in Rajnandgaon District Joined the International Solar Alliance (ISA) on deputation from April 2018 • In-charge of ISA Programme No.1 – Scaling Solar Application of Agricultural Uses • National Focal Point & Contact Point Coordinator • Conducted global International Competitive Bid for Price Discovery of 272579 Nos. of Solar Water Pumping Systems for 22 ISA Member Countries. • Lead ISA Expert Mission to West African Countries - Mali, Benin, Togo and Niger • Coordinating implementation of demo project of Solar Pumps in 10 ISA Member Countries through IBSA Fund • Coordinating ISA-GGGI initiative for implementation of 1 million Solar Pumps in 13 Countries in Africa, Asia and Pacific Region. Additional exposures: ❖ Three months course on Energy Conservation Technologies for Energy Auditors/Manager through JICA in Japan in 2009 ❖ Participated in the UK India Solar Workshop in London in Sept 2009 on invitation of British High Commission. ❖ Visited Hiroshima University of Japan twice on invitation to give lecture on Solar PV Technology in 2016 & 2017. ❖ Presented papers on Renewable Energy & Energy Conservation in more than 50 National & International Conferences ❖ Paper published in National & International Souvenirs / Magazines ❖ Honoured by the Institution of Engineers (India) for outstanding performance, contribution and achievement in the field of Engineering in 2016 ❖ Life Member of Solar Energy Society of India (SESI) ❖ Life Member of Society of Energy Engineers & Managers (SEEM) ❖ Life Member of Alumni of JICA India ❖ Fellow of The Institution of Engineers (India) ❖ Chartered Engineer certified by The Institution of Engineers (India) More than 34 years of experience in the field of Renewable Energy & Energy Conservation.
