Joint Secretary Ministry Of Power

Vishal Kapoor holds a Mechanical Engineering Degree from IRIMEE Jamalpur and also a Master of Public Administration from Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. He has previously worked with the Ministry of Railways, India. He currently is a Joint Secretary (Distribution, Official Language, Social Media) at Ministry of Power, coordinating power sector schemes of IPDS, NEF, smart grids for smart cities and piloting Distribution reforms. He is involved in the UDAY scheme for financial and operational turnaround of DISCOM. He also coordinates with PFC for day today and perspective planning at the ministerial level.
