Since 2020, Brian Selby, has been GE Renewable Energy Hydro Solutions Managing Director for Asia (ASEAN, ANZ, China, India, North Asia), leading the team responsible for all sales, manufacturing operations, project execution and service for customers in this region. Prior to joining GE Hydro, Brian was part of GE Ventures Licensing where, for 7 years, he was the MD, Global Alliance Management focused on accelerating growth of GE Venture’s strategic initiatives by leveraging GE’s intellectual property with GE customers, GE businesses and GE Global Research centers outside of North America. Prior to GE, Brian spent eleven years as part of the senior leadership team of Elemica Inc. a global cloud-based supply chain management solutions company providing modular and scalable SCM cloud applications to capital intensive manufacturing industries such as chemicals, plastics and tires. Before joining Elemica, Brian spent nine years with GE Asia in various roles of increasing responsibility within GE Corporate and GE Plastics, including Business Development, Sourcing and Commercial Sales. Brian started his career as lawyer in the USA focused on international trade, mergers and acquisitions and commercial litigation. Brian holds a JD (IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law) and History Degree (University of Chicago). He is based in Singapore where he has lived and worked for the past 30 years.
