Mr. Prabir Neogi is an engineering graduate from Jadavpur University and holds a diploma in finance and accounting management. He has attended the Senior Executive Programme on Strategy, Leadership and Transformation at the London Business School. Mr. Neogi has had a long experience in power and coal sectors with exposure to policy, reforms, regulation and organisational design, having worked with CESC Limited and as Chief Executive, Noida Power Company Limited. Subsequently, he has served as President, Integrated Coal Mining Limited, which undertakes captive coal mining for CESC’s generating plants. Currently as Chief Adviser – Corporate Affairs of RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, he is assisting Group Companies in policy and regulatory matters impacting individual businesses. Mr. Neogi is acting as Mentor, FICCI Power Committee. His areas of interest include policy and regulation for developing fuel and power markets, power distribution reforms and decarbonisation initiatives.
