Rebecca Wheeler is senior manager of international programs with the American Water Works Association. She leads and oversees the strategy and planning of AWWA’s programs to develop partnerships, share water knowledge and expertise and advance diversity and inclusion across the globe. Throughout her career with nonprofits and corporations, she has led projects and teams in the United States, Europe, and Asia Pacific to build international business. At AWWA, Rebecca works closely with international teams, particularly AWWAIndia Association, to drive brand awareness, advance AWWA’s mission and support international members. Her additional experience with participation includes the Olympics, World Expo, and Clinton Foundation. Rebecca graduated from Baylor University with a master’s degree in women’s history and gender studies and is an international Certified Meeting Professional (CMP). Email - RWheeler@awwa.org
