A Power distribution Professional, with experience in all aspects of power utilities operations like Network planning and operation, capex optimization, adoption and adaptation of newer technology, usage of OT & IT in maintaining network with minimal failure and faster outage management to ensure reliable power supply, coordination and to meet expectations of various stake holders including consumers. Before joining power utility, almost for a decade, worked in design, development & manufacturing of Energy meter, the key component in DESCOM. With Knowledge about how meter generate data, what affects meter data, it's co-relation with events, developed various analytical logic/ objective oriented applications to use meter for Revenue Protection, Loss reduction, Network health monitoring, predict installation quality and to bring down technical loss. Rajesh believes stakeholders & consumer expectations are continiously changing and same along with utility issues, concerns can be addressed by adapting newer technologies & data analytics. Objective oriented Analytics with domain knowledge to get maximum gain bring smartness, faster technogy implementation with higher financial gain. Rajesh frequently interact with policy/ opinion makers, standardisation committee & service provider to share his views & experience regarding adoption of new technologies like renewable, energy storage, EV charging, DSM & smart metering by aligning with utility need.
