Scientist E – CEST, Department of Science & Technology (DST)
Suresh Babu Muttana is working as Scientist E / Director at Department of Science & Technology (DST), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. He is associated with activities related to Electric Vehicle R&D, Standards Development and Policy Aspects in the Government. He played a pivotal role in developing three national R&D roadmaps for electric mobility, covering Tropical EV Batteries, Motors and Power Electronics, and EV Charging Infrastructure. He is also Program Officer for EV Startup Program of DST, which is focused in supporting startups in translation of proof of concepts/prototypes into commercially viable products. He also serves as an active Member of the BIS Sectional Committee on EV Charging Infrastructure. He holds a Master's Degree (M. Tech) in Production Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. He has to his credit 50 publications in Journals, Conferences including Technical Papers in Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) International.
