Junior Non-Key Expert, EU-India Clean Energy and Climate Partnership

Nidhin has 7+ years of experience in working with different stakeholders on climate change mitigation, disaster risk reduction and community-based climate change adaptation projects. He is a Civil engineer and an Environmental Planner, have diverse working experience of working with civil society organizations, State government department, Bilateral and multilateral organizations in the domain on climate change, disaster risk reduction and sustainable development. Previously, He supported the implementation of the project “Strategic Partnerships for the Implementation of the Paris Agreement (SPIPA)” in the Climate Change, Environment, Climate Change & Biodiversity Cluster in close coordination with the EU Delegation to India. Provided technical support on climate change adaptation, mitigation, policy development etc. and coordinated the activities of different consultants. Supported and coordinated SAPCC revision in the states of Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Haryana, Punjab and NCT of Delhi. Supported in conceptualizing and organize National and International training programs/events on climate change related issues as part of the project including thematic tracks at World Sustainable Development Summit, Adaptation Futures, Youth Climate Conclaves and Knowledge dissemination workshops on ‘Low Carbon Modelling tools’, ‘India-EU Adaptation experience exchange’ events.
